Sarah Chelten (born December 31, 1978) is an American children’s, young adult,
and adult writer. She was born in Ohio, she spent many years living in New York, and a brief time in Alabama. Sarah was adopted into a large family, with whom she credits for her strength and values. She also gives accolades to her mother, and daughter, praising them for being a big part of her happiness and success. Today, the single mother and author, Ms. Chelten, resides in Ohio. Her principal work is The Germophobic Tooth Fairy. Look for her young adult novel, The Diary of an Extraordinary Child, about a young teenager fighting for her right to live on her own terms, despite the battles she has to overcome. Ms. Chelten's passion for helping children shows in her volunteer work and charities she is involved in which include schools, hospitals, and even special home visits for terminally ill fans. She has a special place in her heart for special needs children and kids battling cancer. Sarah Chelten is a huge supporter of Autism Awareness, as well as a supporter of those suffering with cancer, Sarah spends most of her free time doing charity work for hospitals and volunteers in a school. Ms Chelten is also a tv host for Legends of the Heartland on WGTE PBS affiliate, as well as Amazon Prome Video. This show follows strange legends that involve historic locations. She and her co-hosts have been filming this tv series for two years. The pilot airs on WGTE October of 2020 and November 2020 for Amazon Prime Video.
